We had a fantastic time talking about The Power of Play last week.

@joeymh43 – Play that is student focused draws parents into their education because they think, “That’s pretty cool!” This is some maybe PBL should stand for Play Based Learning
@WinkelerD – Expand our mindset, parents mindset, and student mindset about what learning is and how it is displayed in our classrooms. Showing that play has a place in the classroom will bring more on board to the idea.
@PegCormeny – play builds interpersonal skills and relationships! We do welcoming rituals in our district. Not all play but people based.
@tlpear – When we engage in play we are opening ourselves up to meaningful interactions that can help build strong relationships based on trust.
@alma_henry – When I feel like I’m getting dysregulated at school, I go play with kids— recess, rug time, on the hunt for GoNoodle brain breaks. If that impacts me greatly, I can only imagine what that does to a little babe.
@juliepile – Play releases GOOD hormones – Endorphins, oxytocin, dopamine, serotonin – https://t.co/QHLudcZ6Xv?amp=1
@Howells_Owls – This was my favorite #ParentCampChat topic so far! You can’t even TALK about play without feeling a little happier and more buoyant! Great reminders!
